Welcome to Acatery

This is a website about muds: text-based online multiplayer games that are open-ended; where interaction with other players is as much of the game as the rules. Acatery exists to catalog muds and codebases (the starting points for muds), both past and present.

Important: Acatery is not yet completed and significant portions are not online yet. There has not been much of any interest in the mud community in this project, so I'm putting it on hold while I work on some of my other projects. If you'd like to help me get it up and running (especially if you know PHP), please contact me. -- Peter
